      Redefining Retirement program

      This Bergen Volunteer Center program is aimed at older adults who want to volunteer their skills and experience in nonprofit organizations, contribute to their communities and learn something new. Based on experience and interests, retirees will be connected with nonprofits that depend on volunteers with specific skill sets.

      Meet with Redefining Retirement matchmakers at Johnson Public Library in Hackensack on Sept. 4, Oct. 2, Nov. 6 and Dec. 4, from 12:30 to 2 p.m.; at Westwood Community Center on Sept. 5, Oct. 3, Nov. 7 and Dec. 10, from 9 to 11 a.m.; at Ridgewood Village Hall on Sept. 9, Oct. 8, Nov. 6 and Dec. 6, from 10 a.m. to noon; at Teaneck Public Library on Sept. 10, Oct. 8, Nov. 12 and Dec. 10, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; and at Englewood Public Library on Sept. 10, Oct. 8, Nov. 12 and Dec. 10, from 1 to 3 p.m.
